ASIM Joins IRC Spatial Data Group

Vancouver, BC - July 5, 2005 - Atticus Spatial Information Management Ltd. joins forest inventory group IRC Spatial Data Group Inc. (IRC) The IRC group, informally established 9 years ago, has now become a legal corporation. The company consists of a very strong and experienced team of forest inventory specialists including Trillium Pacific Resource Consultants Ltd., FMS Measurement Systems Ltd., Industrial Forestry Service Ltd., HCK Forestry Ltd., Aspect Resource Consulting Inc., and Chris Wells independent consultant.

IRC is currently completing VRI inventories for more than 100 woodlots in BC and a forest inventory project covering more than 600,000 ha in Timmins Ontario for Tembec. On this latter project, IRC has partnered with Silvatech and a leading remote sensing provider to utilize new technology and approaches for image acquisition, ground data collection, semi-automated delineation and attribute estimation.
