October 13, 2004 - AES Press Announcement - Canadian Firms capture Mexican Forest Inventory Contract - Commission Nacional Forestal (CONAFOR) - awards 27 month 1.8 million dollar (CDN) to Atticus Environmental Services (Canada) of Kelowna BC and R. White woods Inc. of Victoria for the supervision and quality Assurance of Mexico's National Forest Inventory.

July 15, 2004 - Sitka Resource Consulting Ltd. purchases CoreMIS for ArcView 3.X to manage forestry information for its clients using the CoreMIS/PhoenixPro solution.

July 1, 2004 - The principles of Atticus Resource Consulting Ltd.’s (ARC) create two new companies Atticus Environmental Services Ltd. (AES) and Atticus Spatial Information Management Ltd. (ASIM). AES manages ARC’s Mexico initiative, ecological and land classification modeling, forest inventory field services and the Kelowna Office. ASIM is responsible for ARC’s forest inventory, CoreMIS desktop mapping application and resource planning and land management services. ARC continues to operate the GIS and mapping services as support for AES and ASIM.
